Granville Elementary in the Fall

Principal Ten Eyck

Dear GES Families,

Thank you for attending teacher-parent conference days this week.

We had an absolutely great week meeting families and getting to know you.

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and it's clear that the students, with teacher and guardian partnership, we are working toward our goals effectively.

If you were unable to attend or have additional questions, please contact your teacher directly for a brief phone conversation or email. It's never too late to be in touch and work together.

Reminder: There is no school next Wednesday - Friday, 11/26 - 11/28 for Thanksgiving Recess.

Wishing you a good weekend,

Ms. Ten Eyck
Principal, Granville Elementary School
518-642-1051 Ext. 3202 tteneyck@granvillecsd.org

Winter Gear Reminder

Please be sure to send your student with boots, warm jacket, hat, and gloves daily so your student can go outside for recess.

Please label your student’s name in all of their belongings, as hats and gloves tend to go missing fast!

Principal Ten Eyck's Tips

The values we hold dear at GES are being Kind, Safe, Responsible, and Respectful.

These aren't just student values; they are community values that must be upheld by all of us—students, staff, and parents—in every setting.

Please also remember, our teachers and staff deserve to be treated with the same respect we expect for our students.

We all have the same goal - supporting your student. We can only achieve this when we work together in a kind and civil partnership.

Please help us uphold a professional and respectful environment for everyone who steps onto our campus.

Let's work together to ensure that GES remains a wonderful place for every student to learn and thrive.

Thank you,
Principal Ten Eyck
