Please remember to ensure that bus notes are submitted by 11:00 AM each day. This helps us manage transportation effectively and ensures your child gets home safely.

***Winter Weather and Recess***

Please be sure your child is prepared for outdoor recess by bringing appropriate outerwear like boots, hats, gloves and snow pants or extra pants. If providing winter clothing presents a challenge, please reach out to the Principal or School Nurse for support—we are happy to assist with any needs.

Nurse’s Office and Medication

If your child takes medication before the school day, please ensure it’s provided before they arrive, or submit any necessary doctor’s orders to the school nurse and we can assist at school.

***Pack a Snack***

Please pack a filling afternoon snack for your children, to help them focus and feel good. Here is the link for some helpful tips about when kids should snack and simple snack ideas.

Keep encouraging your child to work hard on their school work—every effort counts!

Each week, one student is selected from each grade by their teachers and staff for being responsible and kind with their peers and in the classroom.

• 3/5 - 6th Grade Parent Night at the Jr/Sr High - Granville, Wells and Mettawee Parents and Guardians of rising 7th graders are invited to a get-acquainted presentation and school tour. No registration required. 6pm - 7pm - Spread the word!

• 3/6 - Spirit Night at the Jr/Sr High - District families invited to come watch grades 6-12 play silly competitive games with staff. PTO Concession stand with pizza, candy and drinks will be available.

• 3/10 - Board of Education Meeting, 6pm, HS Library

• 3/12 - PTO Meeting, 6pm, GES

• 3/13 - 5th and 6th Grade After School Glow Party, GES

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program - Twice per week, fresh fruits and vegetables are brought to our classrooms. Students have the opportunity to explore new healthy foods and enjoy the excitement of discovering the treats offered.

Free Breakfast and Lunch Each Day - Arrive 15 minutes early to school and enjoy breakfast before school starts. No registration needed.
