Lastly thank you to our team captains, the Granville PTO, our Officials Ms. Hunt and Ms. Smith, and to the Spirit club advisors and Mr. Burton for keeping everything running smoothly.

Go Horde!

Families, please join us next year - all grades welcome to come cheer on and laugh at teachers vs student games.

WSWHE BOCES Student Summit

Five of our students joined Principal Nassivera and had a great experience attending the WSWHE BOCES Student Summit on Thursday March 5th at Fort William Henry's Carriage House.

They joined students from 21 other local districts to participate in activities focused on student voice, fostering belonging, and creating welcoming school communities.

Administrators, counselors, and teachers also worked together throughout the day to address these important topics, as well as collaborate on ideas to bring back to their schools.

Students pictured from left to right: Orynn Vanderminden (Grade 11), Amara Towne (Grade 11), Lily Olsen (Grade 10), Caroline Baker (Grade 10), Jack Best (Grade 11)

Junior National Honor Society

Members of the Granville Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society volunteered at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York in Latham as part of their group community service hours.

As a group we sorted donated items which were sent to the food bank from organizations around the Capital Region as part of their Martin Luther King Jr. Day service projects.

Together, with a group of other volunteers, we sorted and boxed 8,304 pounds of food which will be distributed to agencies anywhere from the North Country to Newburgh.

It was a really great day and as NJHS President Alivia Marcille reflected, "That was a day really well spent.  I feel like I used my time so well and really contributed to the community.  It feels really good to have participated".
