The Golden Horde CSD Music Department! If you see one of these four amazing teachers, please wish them luck as they bring the school community the annual holiday concert season, which began Thursday, December 11th with the GES Band and Chorus Concert.
From left to right - Mr. Tuttle (GES/MJT Chorus), Mr. DeLappa (GES/MJT Band), Mrs. Stout (Jr/Sr High Band Director) and Mr. Schenk (Jr/Sr High Interim Choral Director).
While we don’t want to let Mr. Schenk go, we are looking for a just the right person to take his place next school year. Please share this post with a wonderful, energetic music teacher ready to make Granville CSD their home.
Thank you to the Music Department for bringing concerts and making music education fun, engaging and memorable.
Go Horde!

Nearly every week, Ms. Cahan's agriculture classes welcomes MJT and GES classes for a presentation and introduction to animal science. Sometimes students visit the Jr/Sr High, and other times Ag students take the classroom to them.
The older students enjoy being teacher-mentors as they take pride in showcasing their work and what they've learned. The younger students look forward to seeing animals and learning how to care for them, what they eat and how to keep them healthy. It also helps students feel comfortable in the "big school" and look forward to their time when they make the transition into 7th grade.
Jr/Sr High students say meeting with the younger students is one of their favorite parts about Agriculture classes.
Here is a picture of Pre-K students visiting this week and learning about butterflies from a high school student. |

The project represents weeks of interviewing, writing, editing, designing, and working as a newsroom team across districts. The finished magazine showcases hard news, feature stories, editorials, reviews, and more."
