Dear MJT Families,

It certainly feels like Fall now!  Please be sure to send your student to school each day with a sweatshirt or light jacket.

Arrival and Dismissal Updates:

Safety is our number one priority.  At arrival, please don’t let your student out of the vehicle until the staff is in the circle.  Once cars start moving, we would prefer the staff to be there to assist and make sure students are safe from the traffic.

U-Turn and through traffic are not allowed in our driveways.  Please do not make a U-Turn at either end of our driveways, and cars are not allowed to pull in and drive down our driveways during dismissal, even before the buses pull in.  We often have students waiting on the sidewalk and this could pose potential safety risks.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

Please be on the lookout next week for more information regarding Halloween here at MJT.

See the information below for MJT Spirit Days for next week!  We hope to see everyone participating in this fun event here at school.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend,

Mrs. Taylor

Principal, Mary J. Tanner

Morning Arrival and Schedule

The MJT Lee Road AM drop off time is 7:45 am - 8:00 am only.

Class starts at 8:00 am.

MJT staff go back into the building at precisely 8:00 am to start classes.

This means there are no MJT staff members available to let you student in the door after 8:00 am at the Lee Road Drop Off.

If you arrive after 8:00 am and see an orange rope up at the MJT Lee Road drop off, please drive your student to the front of the building and walk them in through the main entrance.

Please also note, you cannot leave your student with a Head Start staff member and must walk them in through the main entrance.

Please share this with any other adult who may do the morning drop off with your student.

The safety of our students is our top priority, and we appreciate your cooperation.

Thank you,
MJT Staff

Pick-Up Line Safety

Please help us keep our pick-up line safe.

Students should only exit and enter vehicles on the passenger side. Having children walk around cars is dangerous, so please ensure they use the curb side.

Please don’t let your student out of the vehicle until the staff is in the circle.  Once cars start moving, we would prefer the staff to be there to make sure students are safe from the traffic.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
