Principal Taylor's Tips

This time of year is a great time to establish afternoon and evening routines with your students.

Please be mindful of how much “screen time” students are having at home (television, tablets, computers).

Excessive screen time directly links to concerns with attention, behavior, and proper sleep patterns.

Here are a few ideas to help structure your student's evenings in a way that promotes that ability to gain some independence with self-care skills

PTO Staff Member of the Month

At Mary J. Tanner, Nurse Blais is getting all the high-fives for taking the helm of redecorating the MJT staff lounge.

"Congratulations to Jen Blais! The work that that Mrs. Blais put into making the idea of a renovated faculty room come to life was amazing! This work benefited the entire faculty and staff! Additionally, Nurse Blais is exceptional about supporting our students and staff, following up with families and providers, and making sure everyone stays happy and healthy here at school. Congratulations Ms. Blais!" - Principal Taylor

Thank you to the PTO for funding the beautiful frames and gifts to Indulge Pizza.
