Dear School Families,
Thank you to families who attended this week's PBIS celebration.
We regularly highlight good behavior and positive character traits to help inspire our students to do well in and out of school and feel welcome in our school.
Please note, holiday recess begins 12/22 and classes resume on 1/5.
Wishing you a good weekend,
Mrs. Taylor Principal, Mary J. Tanner School 518-642-1051 Ext. 4201

Winter Gear Reminder:
Please be sure to send your student with boots, warm jacket, hat, and mittens daily, as most classes go outside to play in the snow at recess.
Send students in with boots and snow pants, as well as hats and gloves, and please label them with names.
If they don't have these items, they won't be able to be in the snow.
If you need help obtaining any of these items, please contact Principal Taylor or Nurse Blais: jblais@granvillecsd.org

PBIS Celebration - Students of the Month |
PBIS is a positive behavior intervention and supports program.
Each month, students are selected by their teachers who most exemplify the monthly character trait the school studies each month.
Congratulations to all students and their families!
School Psychologist, Mrs. Forbes is dressed up as the PBIS Bee and took a picture with each student who received a PBIS award. Here are a few snapshots. |
PTO Staff Member of the Month |
Congratulations to our PTO Sponsored, November Employee of the month, Pre-K Teacher, Mrs. Alowitz-Rhem!
Here's what staff has to share about Mrs. Rehm:
"She has a real love for the students that need to know that someone cares for them when their day is difficult, to help and encourage them."
"She has incredible patience, understanding, and compassion for our youngest learners, and welcomes parents in often to be part of special events."
Mrs. Rehm was gifted a beautiful slate frame and gift card to Indulge Pizza from the PTO. Thank you to the PTO!
