Dear MJT Families, 

Well that is a wrap for the 2024-2025 school year! 

We enjoyed many special celebrations over the last few weeks, and all of the family support helped to make each of those moments so special.  

Please be on the lookout for letters with your student's class placement for the 2025-2026 school year in mid August.   

Mark your calendars for the annual Welcome Back Ice Cream Social on Thursday 8/28/25 at 6PM!

I hope you all enjoy a happy, healthy summer, and I look forward to seeing everyone in September!

Summer Opportunities

  • July - August - Take advantage of the Summer Resources complied for your family on the Granville CSD website. This post is regularly updated. Pember Library events added this week for K - 12 grades.

  • July - August - Parent-Led Summer Soccer Sessions for boys and girls entering 7th - 12th. Every Saturday 9am-11am and Wednesday 5pm - 6:30pm. Drop in as desired or come every week. Here is the link to the community information on Facebook for Saturdays. Here is the link for the Wednesday information.

  • 7/8 - Safe Sitter Class at Granville Jr/Sr High - 3 Spots Left - Here is to the information about the Safe Sitter Course at Granville Jr/Sr High for Grades 6-8.

  • 7/9 - Parent Meeting for Families Registered for the Village of Granville Free Swim Program (Program is Full) 5:30pm at the Village Office in Granville

  • August - Free Field Hockey Fun Nights with Coach Barber and the Field Hockey Athletes - Grades K - 8. Twice per week in August, 5pm - 6:15pm. Details in this post and in the district calendar.

  • 8/28 - Welcome Back Ice Cream Social on Thursday, 8/28/25 at 6PM at MJT

MJT Kitchen Thanks Transportation Team!

Thank you to the Granville CSD Transportation Department from the MJT Kitchen!

Jenn Rock, kitchen manager at MJT (pictured below), assembled adorable packages for each member of the transportation department to thank them for all of their hard work this year!

Inside she included homemade fudge along with a few other goodies. Go Horde!

Let's work together as a community to help our students turn the summer slide into summer progress.

Just 15 minutes a day of reading or learning time makes a big difference!

Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program - Twice per week, fresh fruits and vegetables are brought to our classrooms. Students have the opportunity to explore new healthy foods and enjoy the excitement of discovering the treats offered.

Free Breakfast and Lunch Each Day - Arrive 15 minutes early to school and come enjoy a relaxing breakfast before school starts. No registration needed.
