It's officially here! The last week of school!

It's been a pleasure getting to know school families, working with the dedicated staff and most of all, seeing your students each day and watching them make learn and grow.

Soon, you'll be meeting Ms. Strong, the new principal and I have no doubt she will be a great fit for Granville Elementary. 

Please do take a look at the summer resources below and consider signing up for the free programming. They are great!

Summer Open Gym Times

Rising 7th Grade Families

You do not need to be on any team to join! 

Boys Basketball - For Rising Grades 7 - 12 with Modified and Varsity Coaches. Monday, Wed and Friday beginning June 29th: Two sessions each day at 9:00 AM with Coach Boucher and 6:00 PM with Coach Sam. Attend Monday, June 29th for additional details and ongoing communication. Summer leagues start June 30th: Modified in Argyle. Contact Coach Boucher cboucher@granvillecsd.org for details. 


Boys and Girls Soccer - For Rising Grades 7 - 12 with Soccer Parents and Visiting Soccer Coaches - Every Wednesday 5 pm and Every Saturday 9 am, Lower Soccer Field by Price Chopper. Join Friends of Granville Soccer Facebook.


Weight Room Open - For Rising Grades 7 - 12 at the Jr/Sr High, Weight Room, with Coach Macura. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM

Free Kids Learning App - from Khan Academy, no ads, always free, and learning is through kid-friendly video games. For ages 2 - 8. Learn more here.

The Pember Library in Granville - Get a free library card and take your kids each once per week or once per month to try new books. Free weekly library programs are available too!

Southern Adirondack Library System (SALS) Recommended Reading - With your Pember library card, you can order any book online for free from SALS and they will deliver the items for free to the Pember. The Pember will email you when it's ready to pick up.

American Library Association Suggested Reading List - Birth to Grade 8

Snacks! Please pack a healthy, filling snack everyday for your student to help them focus and feel good. Twice per week, students are introduced to new fresh fruits or vegetables.
